Are you interested in enhancing the impact of your scholarship on severe poverty? There are several ways in which ASAP can aid you in achieving your goals.
If you are keen on engaging with our thriving community of like-minded scholars, your first step will be to see if there is any national ASAP chapter in your country, and if so, to contact them.
ASAP does operate all over the world but it’s quite possible you may find that there is no Chapter in your country. If there is no such chapter, and you are interested in starting one, please feel free to contact us with your suggestions.
If you are interested in establishing your own chapter you will need to recruit another 4 colleagues and to contact the ASAP Global Coordinator on firstname.lastname@example.org for more details.
If you would prefer to be more directly involved with the main, global organization itself, you have a number of options:
- Check out our current and upcoming ASAP events, which are excellent places to meet and engage directly with people who have ties to ASAP.
- Or, if you are more interested in simply keeping up to date with what is happening within ASAP, please sign up for our newsletter, using the this link.
- ASAP and its colleagues across the Chapter Network regularly run projects, conferences and campaigns. If you are interested in getting involved message the Chapter or contact us on Twitter @AcademicsStand and we can signpost you to the person leading the project.
- ASAP is only able to do what it does as a result of the generosity and support of a small number of trusts and foundations and donations from the public. ASA is always grateful for anyone who is interested in helping us raise awareness of the work that we do and to help us to build our fundraising efforts..
In addition to the above, we are always grateful for donations of any size. As a registered charity, our ability to forward our mission hinges on access to sufficient funding, and every little bit helps.
If you have any other questions, queries or suggestions, please contact us.
