Global Website Intern
We are seeking a talented intern to assist in launching the organization’s new website. Duties will include but are not limited to: website work, copy editing, and manual writing. Subtasks include coding, editing, checking earlier work, and renaming files. This intern will work alongside Web Committee Members Miles Thompson and Oskar Macgregor.
The ideal candidate will have high-level IT skills, including some HTML/Wordpress experience. We are seeking someone who is a quick learner, who can follow instructions as well as work independently and can judge when to seek help and ask questions. This role is appropriate for individuals with at least some undergraduate-level education.
This internship requires an initial commitment of three months and may be extended. Work begins immediately.
Campus Activism Intern
The Campus Activism Intern will work to identify strategies and objectives for a campus advocacy campaign on tax justice, potentially targeting private university endowments. In addition, the intern will collaborate with the Global Alliance for Tax Justice to plan and organize a global on-campus campaign, as well as a campaign launch at a conference at Yale University. S/he will work alongside ASAP Board Member Zorka Milin.
The ideal candidate for this internship will have on-campus activism experience and a passion for economic justice. Previous experience with targeting endowments or corporate actors are highly desirable, as are experience with event planning, previous work with nonprofits, and knowledge of global economic justice issues. This role is best suited to someone currently enrolled in an undergraduate program.
This internship will run at least until November 1, and may be extended. Work begins immediately.
