Najid Ahmad’s research focuses on sustainable development, poverty, environmental economics, global warming and climate change. He holds a PhD degree in economics and is currently employed as Associate Professor at School of Business, Hunan University of Science and Technology, Xiangtan, China. Having had eight years of teaching and research experience and having authored several international publications, Dr. Ahmad has twice been awarded the Chinese Government Outstanding International Researcher Award.

Daniele Botti graduated from the University of Milan (Italy) with a thesis on “John Rawls and International Justice: The Law of Peoples and its Philosophical Premises.” He earned a PhD in History from the University of Eastern Piedmont (Italy) with a dissertation on “John Rawls and the American philosophical Tradition: Notes on a recent Finding among Rawls’s unpublished Papers.” Daniele spent two years (2010 and 2011) as Visiting Assistant in Research of the Global Justice Program at Yale University. He has been living in New Haven, CT since January 2010.

She was also Keele Junior Research Fellow and Fellow at Harvard’s Ethics Center (1999-2001), Hoover Fellow at Lovain-la-Neuve (2001-02), Leverhulme Research Fellow at Oxford (2002-3) and Christopher Family Fellow at Stanford (2018). She is associate editor of Politics, Philosophy and Economics, and Law, Ethics and Philosophy, co-director of the UPF Center for Animal Ethics, and President of The Great Ape Project-Spain.

He graduated as a lawyer from the University of the Andes (Venezuela), attended complementary studies in Philosophy (kleiner Magister) at the University of Tübingen (Germany), and holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Göttingen (Germany).

Having received his PhD in philosophy from Harvard, Thomas Pogge is Leitner Professor of Philosophy and International Affairs and founding Director of the Global Justice Program at Yale.
